Layonne Holmes

Layonne Holmes is a vocalist who spans multiple genres, has stage and studio experience and continues to broaden her horizons by working with a variety of talent. She currently leads two bands: The Motor City Revue, a 13-piece band covering Motown soul; and The New Standard, which performs music made famous by Jazz greats such as Billie Holiday, Etta James, Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone. She also sang backup for Jon Bon Jovi's solo project, Jon Bon Jovi and The Kings of Suburbia, and is a member of Tim McLoone & The Shirleys, as well as a volunteer with Holiday Express, the New Jersey Shore-based non-profit that brings music, supplies, financial support and goodwill to those in great need.
