Wunderbar presents Cyrano plus special guests!
For fans of: Foals, Fred Again.., James Blake, Jordan Rakei, Maribou State
Cyrano is an indie electronic artist and producer from the UK, making music for the late night overthinkers.
In September 2023, he sold out two headline shows at The Lexington in London and Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh, performing live with a full band for the first time.
Cyrano is now returning to New Zealand to start his world tour, including a night at Wunderbar with special guests - this is one not to be missed!
Having previously written with artists including Arlo Parks, Foals' Kit Monteith and Alt-J's Gwil Sainsbury, Cyrano is currently working on his second EP, due for release in 2024.
In 2021, Cyrano celebrated the release of his debut single White Wine, featuring Nilüfer Yanya’s Jazzi Bobbi, by producing his own flat bottle of wine, made from 100% recycled plastic.
Later that year Cyrano released his debut EP Consolations, produced by Foals' Kit Monteith and Luke Smith.
Consolations is a concept EP, inspired by Alain de Botton's book The Consolations of Philosophy. Each track discusses a different theme, lamenting the struggles of modern life and soundtracking the arc of a night.
Throughout 2022, Cyrano supported artists such as Westerman, Laura Misch, Anchorsong and Daithí, before finishing the year with a sold-out headline show at The Waiting Room in London.
Defined by his live performance, concepts and collaboration, Cyrano has been named in Vic Galloway's '25 Artists to Watch in 2023’ for BBC Scotland.
Never surface level, everything he puts into the world is meticulously shaped by layers of meaning – be it musical, personal, or philosophical.
