About this concert
Whale and the Wolf live at Pure Casino Yellowhead supporting Bif Naked.
In 2019 Whale and the Wolf teamed up with producers Jimmy Mansfield and Paul Rogers to record what would be the bands second EP with a planned release and tour in 2020. Covid shifted the release and the groups plans over the coming years.
Armed with a plethora of new ideas and plenty more to say, the group instead jumped back into the studio. This time with North America’s best kept secret, producer Brian Moncarz. The goal with these new recordings was to capture the band's live, raw energy by tracking the majority of the instruments live off the floor.
The collective works of these two sessions along with the years of writing and production experience gained through Covid forms what will be the band’s debut full length album.
Come kickoff the release of ENVY on Nov 2nd!

Whale and the Wolf Biography
Whale and the Wolf's music spans deep and treacherous ground, making it difficult for them to hide the genuine thrill and enjoyment felt with each live performance. Refusing to let a single show pass without spilling their guts across the stage, the band continues to leave their audience thirsting for more.
An independent band with 5 singles charting in the Top 40 for Canadian Active Rock, 9 months of airplay across 12 stations, over a million Spotify streams, and 22 unique Canadian cities visited on their last two tours alone, Whale and the Wolf most recently teamed up with Grammy Nominated producer Jimmy Mansfield and Paul Rogers to solidify their impending rise to the top of the rock game. Armed with a new lineup, and a fresh take on the rock genre, Whale’s “hard pop” is already starting to make waves.
