Ruud Houweling (zang/gitaar) speelt hoofdzakelijk liedjes van zijn nieuwe album Accidental Pictures. Zonder de drums, blazers en strijkers die op zijn platen een belangrijke rol spelen. Maar juist in deze bescheiden vorm komt de kern van de liedjes vaak uitvergroot naar voren. Houweling omlijst zijn songs graag met verhalen over de totstandkoming ervan. Regelmatig raakt dat een snaar bij het publiek.

Ruud Houweling Biography
Ruud Houweling quietly established a reputation as one of the Netherland’s most authentic singer-songwriters and contemporary artists. Starting out fronting his former band Cloudmachine and since 2015 as a solo artist. But also as a composer for Dutch public broadcasting NPO, on national television. His songs have been recorded by national and international artists with gold and platinum awards.
