점점 선선해지는 가을, 아름다운 색채를 느껴보실 수 있는 재즈 콘서트가
오로지 감상에만 몰입할 수 있는 생생한 라이브 카페, “언더플로우”에서 펼쳐집니다✨
이번 공연에서는 윤여준 보컬리스트가 해석한 자신만의 음악과 감정, 목소리를 보랏빛 사운드로 담아냈는데요. 세계적으로 사랑받는 대가들의 전통재즈 곡들을 재해석/편곡한 곡들과 윤여준 보컬리스트의 자작곡들을 레파토리로 한 무대에 모두 담았습니다🤩
특히 이번 무대에는 금속을 두들겨 실로폰과 같이 맑은 소리를 내는 “비브라폰”과
피아노, 드럼, 베이스 세션이 함께하며 특색있는 편성으로 선보일 예정입니다!!
Keith Jarrett, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Bill Evans, Horace Silver, Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson 등 재즈 거장들로부터 전해 내려온 스탠다드 재즈를 그녀만의 해석으로 풀어내, 윤여준 보컬리스트의 무대 속 재즈 대가들의 사운드를 발견하는 재미까지 느껴보실 수 있는 이번 공연!!
**Purple Sounds란?**
June Yun이 사랑하는 광범위한 곡들과 사운드를 모은 레파토리 및 분위기를 말한다. June Yun이 좋아하는 대가들의 편곡 버전부터 그녀가 좋아하는 사운드로 편곡한 재즈 스탠다드 곡, 재즈 대가에게 영감을 받아 쓴 조금 더 전통재즈에 가까운 자작곡들을 포함한 레파토리를 연주한다. Purple Sounds는 그녀에게 influence를 준 모든 음악, 뮤지션, 사운드 및 예술을 바탕으로한 기존에 그녀가 작곡하는 음악보다는 조금 더 대중적인 음악을 연주하는 팀이라고 볼 수 있다.

June Yun Biography
June Yun, is an up-and-coming vocalist, composer, educator based in New York. Yun was born in South Korea and moved to the U.K. when she was five and spent her childhood in London. After graduating from college, Yun released a collaboration project debut single with a famous Korean singer from the 90s, Seunghwa Park. The whole project was sponsored by KBS, the biggest national broadcasting TV & Radio channel in Korea. After the release, she received many calls from record labels in Korea but she thought there was something missing in herself and her music so she moved to NYC to learn jazz, a new concept. Yun has explored and built up her own repertoire in jazz and composed originals, mostly influenced by traditional and modern jazz, free jazz and her very first music influence, classical music.
June Yun has studied and performed with some of the most influential musicians including Jean Baylor, Theo Bleckmann, Shai Maestro, Joel Ross, Ingrid Jensen, Amy London, Mike Moreno, Jeremy Manasia and Dr. Richard Harper. She has been writing and performing a wide range of music including her original music, traditional and modern jazz, contemporary pop and R&B, K-pop, classical music, Korean traditional music, film music, and musical theater. Yun has performed at some of the most well-known jazz clubs and halls in NYC including Dizzy’s Jazz at Lincoln Center, Smalls Jazz club, John Tishman Auditorium, Mercury Lounge, and more.
