Go_A

Go_A is a Ukrainian electro-folk band first formed in 2012. The band's name means "return to the roots" and was made by combining the English word "Go" with the Greek letter "Alpha", which symbolizes the beginning of everything. After their first big international success at the Eurovision Song Contest, Go_A has been actively touring worldwide since 2021, bringing Ukrainian music to more than 25 countries worldwide and became fairly known for their performances at major European festivals. Their performance at the Glastonbury John Peel Stage was recognised by The Guardian as one of the "Top acts not to miss at Glastonbury 2022," and their show at 2023 PinkPop earned them a spot in the top 3 best performances at the festival according to critics. Gaining a huge recognition performing the song in Ukrainian language in one of the biggest stages in Europe, inspired the band to took on a mission to bring Ukrainian culture to every part of the world. Go_A have been fairy successful at this, the song “SHUM” became an international phenomenon reaching 100,000,000 streams worldwide and became the 17th track in the history of Eurovision to reach this mark, as well as being the 5th non-English-language track in this top. The very same track debuted at 158 on the Billboard Global 200, becoming both the first song by an artist from Ukraine, and the first Ukrainian-language song, to hit the global charts. The Ukrainian Magic tour will be dedicated to the celebration of Ukrainian culture and traditions, helping people who have suffered from russian aggression in Ukraine. Each performance is imbued with Ukrainian folk vibes thanks to lead singer’s Kateryna authentic yet folklore singing style, traditional musical instruments and percussion combined with modern and contemporary arrangements. The phenomenon of Go_A music is that it reaches and enchants every listener, no matter where they are from and what language they speak.
