Artist Info: Dan Hubbard: Dan Hubbard is a singer-songwriter whose music captivates audiences with its blend of heartfelt lyrics and soulful melodies. With a folk-rock sound that draws inspiration from Americana and roots music, Hubbard's songs often explore themes of introspection, love, and the human experience. His distinctive voice, accompanied by acoustic guitar-driven arrangements, creates an intimate and immersive listening experience. Hubbard's ability to craft poignant storytelling within his songs has earned him a dedicated following, as he continues to traverse the musical landscape with his evocative and emotionally resonant compositions. Aaron Kelly: Aaron Kelly was never on American Idol, but did grow up on the edge of the Chicago megalopolis, falling under the influence of John Prime, Townes Van Zandt, and empathy, his songs are carefully crafted and made to last. He's been featured by American Songwriter Magazine and released Barefoot and Bottomed Out, his first solo album, in 2016, after zig-zagging across the country for years with Overman. Making up for lost time, Aaron Kelly Band released their debut LP, Songs Still Sing, on 9/23/22. An adjacent 6-song EP, Letting the Animals Out, will release in early 2023. Brandon Sampson: It all started in Lyle, MN (pop. 500) with a skid loader and a fence post. Six Mile Grove frontman Brandon Sampson was 7 years old when he injured his hand while helping his dad on the family farm. Guitar playing was prescribed for rehab, and Sampson went from the hospital to the music store to buy a new guitar. To keep things fair, younger brother Brian was awarded a shiny new drum set, and the seeds of Six Mile Grove were planted. The brothers spent years pounding on instruments in their great grandmother’s kitchen, while singing in church with their mom on organ. Brian’s best friend Barry joined the noise, and his years of piano lessons finally paid off. Dezi Wallace was added thanks to a conversation between two dads over a beer at Lyle Liquor, the local on and off. John Wheeler, the final member of Six Mile Grove joined years later on pedal steel and lap steel, adding decades of experience not only in music but life to the band. Six Mile Grove has weathered 20 years of the tumultuous music scene as a self-managed, self-produced, and self-recorded band. Its music continues to evolve, as an organic, honest voice untinkered with and untainted by the lure of record labels or flashy music producers. Dan Hubbard Biography

In a 20-year career as a singer-songwriter Dan Hubbard has released 9 studio albums, toured extensively throughout the United States, and shared the stage with countless national acts, including Martin Sexton, Andrew Combs, and Nikka Costa. Influenced by the likes of Tom Petty, Hubbard’s music has been acclaimed as “beautiful, powerful, and often seemingly effortless.” (Independent Clauses)

Hubbard—an Illinois Native and the youngest of three boys—credits his oldest brother D.J. with inspiring him to write. “He played me these songs he had written while he was off at college, and I was blown away. Seeing his talent made me believe I might have it in me too.” he says. At age nine, Hubbard’s middle brother, Erik, died from brain cancer when he was just 12. By 15, Dan discovered guitar as an outlet. “It became a way for me to properly mourn him, and heal.” After graduating from Illinois State University, Hubbard knew he wanted to pursue music, and he’s been honing his craft ever since.
