The Wildwoods Biography
The Wildwoods, a folk-Americana trio from Lincoln, Nebraska, bring beauty and simplicity to a noisy musical world. Their fourth album, Dear Meadowlark (released April 11, 2025), blends heartfelt lyricism with indie-folk textures inspired by Nickel Creek, Gillian Welch, Bon Iver, and Mumford & Sons. At its core, the album is a love letter to their home state, capturing the pull of Nebraska and the homesickness that follows life on the road. The band: Noah Gose (vocals/guitar), Chloe Gose (vocals/violin), and Andrew Vaggalis (vocals/upright bass), have earned acclaim as finalists in the 2024 Rocky Mountain Songwriter Contest and 2023’s FreshGrass and VHS “Gems in the Rough.” Their songs “Untitled” and “Way of Train” were also semi-finalists in the International Songwriting Competition.
