Maggie Szabo Biography
Maggie Szabo has been extremely busy releasing a series of high-profile singles, remixes and EPs that have put her on the map as a pop artist and changemaker. In late 2021, her hit single ‘My Oh My’ was named Stingray Radio’s “Trending Track” and hit the Canada Hot AC Chart at #27 (alongside Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, and Adele), taking over radio throughout Canada.
Maggie has over 35 million streams on Spotify, 13 million views on YouTube, and more than 50 notable placements in film and television (E!, Disney, ABC, NBC, Netflix). In addition to releasing her own music, Szabo has fostered a successful songwriting career. Her song ’SloMo’ reached #1 on the Billboard charts in Spain of June 2022. The song took third in the internationally known Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Maggie also wrote for KPOP group Le Sserafim’s platinum album Anti Fragile, which is currently #1 on the Billboard World Albums chart.
Maggie’s passion for addressing issues of social injustice has allowed her the opportunity to work with organizations such as the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles. Her power ballad, ‘Don’t Give Up’, is a beautifully authentic and heartfelt song dedicated to transgender youth around the world who live in fear and suffer from rejection and exclusion. It was premiered by Billboard and praised by media outlets such as PopDust, The Advocate, and Huffington Post. Her single "Rebuild," released during Pride Month 2021, was featured by Yahoo! and named a 2021 Pride Jam by Queerty.
