They bob and weave past boundaries with a deft and dynamic approach. After racking up millions of streams independently and touring with various genre heavyweights, they perfect this vision on their full-length debut album, Quarter Life Daydream out through esteemed label 3DOT Recordings. Take fireball vocal powerhouse Dity and the hard hitting, harder grooving Raven brothers, bind them together and you get CORIDIAN. It’s the four piece Auckland based group who are fast becoming one of the best new names in Kiwi rock. CORIDIAN have toured extensively around Aotearoa, including several of their headlining tours and performing with high profile NZ acts such as Devilskin, City of Souls, I AM GIANT, Ekko Park, Dead Favors, Skinny Hobos & Written by Wolves. They’ve also supported international acts such as Skillet (USA), P.O.D (USA), Fuel (USA), Fozzy (USA), Sumo Cyco (CAN) & Red Sea (AUS). Having played up and down their beautiful country, PULL DOWN THE SUN are no strangers to New Zealand. Boasting an international standard of modern metal, they have been hand picked to support many local and international acts. PULL DOWN THE SUN creates a glorious set of imagery that holds true to sheer riff obedience, making motions from heavy and erratic, to dark and moody, through to light and uplifting with minimal effort. Their journey through to 2020 brings us their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Of Valleys and Mountains’. Simply described, CLAEMUS’ music is the result of blending odd-meter, hooky melodies and heavy guitar riffs. The band incorporates a wide variety of sounds beyond what might be expected of a Three-piece metal band, ranging from soaring synthesisers, orchestral arrangements and rich vocal harmonies. With this array of sounds at their disposal, CLAEMUS creates dynamic and exciting compositions, which ensures each piece of music has a unique and original character to it. Each song, however, is distinctly CLAEMUS. Heavy, driving, progressive rock, with moments of introspective contemplation, ELIDI explores diverse musical and lyrical groove-oriented themes with an ear to the ground and an eye to the sky. ELIDI released their critically acclaimed debut EP titled “Sin” in 2018, recorded and produced by Sam K Sproull, Jon Grace, and music legend Tom Larkin at Homesurgery Recordings, Melbourne, Australia. ELIDI are now in the process of writing their first full length album, and their mission is to push their sound even further and serve as a mirror to the world they see with what they create.

Coridian Biography

Take fireball vocal powerhouse Dity and the hard hitting, harder grooving Raven brothers, bind them together and you get Coridian. It's the four piece Auckland based group who are fast becoming one of the best new names in Kiwi rock.

Coridian take the next step in their musical evolution with new single Rite Of Passage, the stadium-sized first single from the forthcoming EP Eldur.

Rite of Passage is a song about connection – the perils of isolation and the opinions of others. It’s the importance of self-worth in these modern times. With a dynamic blend of soaring vocals, irrepressible hooks and a stonking guitar groove, expect to be taken on an aural journey that builds towards a euphoric choral-laden end. This is a slice of anthemic kiwi rock at its finest.

Rite of Passage is the first track from Eldur, the imminent third EP in a series of elementally inspired releases, which began in 2015 with debut EP Oceanic (Water), followed by Caldera (Earth) in 2017. Fire is the focus for Eldur, which will release in Autumn 2020.

The band elaborates on the themes; “With Oceanic, we were a new band, all over the place, like a rough ocean. Caldera was the beginning of grounding and foundation for our sound, Eldur sees us rising up with fiery passion in our writing and performances. Hava, we’ve ascended and at peace. Invisible, yet powerful.“

The final EP in the series Hava (Wind) will release in 2023.

No strangers to the stage, with supports for Fuel, Sumo Cyco, P.O.D, Skinny Hobos, I Am Giant and Devilskin under their belt, Coridian celebrate the release of Rite of Passage with a handful of headlining dates around the North Island this November.
