About this concert
For a limited time, veteran Canadian singer-songwriter Alejandra Ribera can be found performing an intimate set or two at the Queen Adelaide in Hackney, London. It’s a rare opportunity to catch the performer who’s shared stages with Rufus Wainwright, Ron Sexsmith and The Blind Boys of Alabama in a casual setting exploring new material
Monday nights between 8pm and 11pm.
What to expect? Quirky banter. Soulful tunes in English and Spanish. Cabaret vibes. Experimental arrangements sometimes involving kitchen utensils. Cameo appearances by a small dog called Julio Iglesias who wonders about the bar whilst Ribera performs.
