Local Musician Tim Blackburn who records under the name Mistrust will be performing songs from his new album "Sunlight" at HMV Liverpool, Williamson Square, at 2.00pm. Following successful performances at HMV stores in the North West, Mistrust will be playing songs inspired by 80s synth bands such as OMD, The Human League, Depeche Mode, and The Pet Shop Boys. The artist will also be performing his own versions of classic songs. If haven't seen Mistrust play live before, expect to hear songs tracks with clever contrasts between classically retro synth melodies and busy programmed electronic riffs. The artist's deadpan delivery is adorned with sweet expressiveness.

Mistrust (UK) Biography

I’m Tim Blackburn, who records under the name “Mistrust”. I’m based in the North West of England, and make catchy electronic pop songs! My music is influenced by bands such as Kraftwerk, OMD, and early Human League.

I have recently played live in HMV stores in the North West, and a number of local open mic nights.

My latest album “Sunlight” is out now on limited edition compact disc and is available to buy in HMV stores in Bury, Stockport, Warrington, and Liverpool as well as on my Bandcamp page.

I’m available for gigs and support slots in the UK, and you’ll be able to see me performing live at Future Yard in Birkenhead in November 2023.
