Jimmie Bratcher was amazing as always. The church also provided an outstanding BBQ dinner. A great event all around.

The Rev. Jimmie Bratcher Biography
When you ask Jimmie Bratcher to describe what he does, his response is always the same. “I have The Ministry of Showing Up”, and that’s exactly what he does. Jimmie and his wife Sherri show up in churches, at music venues, in prisons, at biker rallies, and with the homeless. They can be found with Saints and Sinners alike doing what they do, “Preaching The Gospel & Playing The Blues”. Jimmie is an inspiring preacher and a world-renowned blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, and author, with a distinct ability to connect with people on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The Bratchers destroyed their marriage through their own selfishness and substance abuse, yet God had another plan. A year after their divorce was final, they began to see each other again, and though it made no sense, they decided to re-marry. They stumbled into a little country church in Northwest Missouri unannounced with a marriage license on a Sunday night and the only way the pastor would marry them was if they gave their lives to Jesus. Both were transformed that night and have followed Jesus ever since. Jimmie & Sherri consider their greatest accomplishments to be their 3 children and 9 grandchildren.
Jimmie’s newest album, Far Enough, released in 2023, peaked at #2 on “The Roots Music Report Top 50 Blues-Rock Albums Chart. A global chart compiled on International radio airplay.
