Scott Cooley

I'm an award-winning songwriter and independent solo recording artist who has released 11 full-length albums you can stream everywhere. I'm from Flint, Michigan and still live near where I grew up. I write acoustic rock songs about my passions, which include the Great Lakes region, sailing, and skiing. My career highlights seriously include playing at my cousin Kirsten's Sweaters and Chili event - a family get-together with a house concert, being asked to livestream in association with the Sing Me A Story foundation during the pandemic for the benefit of Gilda's Club, and the annual Schmoopiepalooza festival in northern Michigan, where I usually deliver when asked to play my most popular and requested song "Mackinac Island". Another highlight would just be the pride I have in having written, recorded and released a lot of albums and songs on which I do everything myself (except awesome accordion playing by my wife Lenore).
