Brian Stone & The Masters of None Biography
Brian Stone took the grass-roots festival scene by storm in 2016 with his lively brand of solo acoustic guitar-based, stomp-driven fun.
His catchy, original upbeat songs on the theme of life, family, partying and piracy, complemented by the odd traditional songs or cover, have audiences of all ages singing and dancing along.
He's supported bands such as 3 Daft Monkeys, Ferocious Dog, Leatherat and The Leylines and played to big crowds at numerous festivals including Bearded Theory and Beautiful Days, where he is one of only a handful of artists to be invited back to play a second year running. In the words of The Bandstand's manager Brian "...has got that magical ability to engage with audiences. It's that undefinable quality that sets great entertainers apart from competent musicians.".
In 2022 they played the Woodland Stage at Bearded Theory to a capacity crowd of over 3,500.
His collaboration with the talented Jonny Wallis (now lead vocalist with The Newcranes) lead to a unique and popular double act. The Fox & The Pirate. There have also been other duo collaboration including with Maty Tustian.
Brian has most recently joined forces once agian with Maty Tustian (ex Folk The System) and in addition Ewan P Stevens (ex Bleeding Hearts) making a formidable trio.
These guys bring a whole new dimension and drive to his modern, high energy, lively folk show. The energy and sheer joy of performing are irresistibly infectious.
Equally at home in an intimate pub, on a large venue stage, at festivals large and small or just jamming around a fire pit Brian Stone & The masters of None are a welcome addition to any event or lineup.
