Fresh off playing Brisbane Festival and collaborating with some of Australia's most respected emerging and established artists (Quan Yeomans (Regurgitator) and Pete Murray to name a few), Katanak is releasing 'Lights of Tokyo', the first single off his upcoming debut EP. The multi-instrumentalist is celebrating by performing his infectious new music at his Brisbane gig and is joined by local legends The Plane Sailors and TYDE. Straddling genre's grey area of Indie pop meets Indie rock, Katanak can’t wait to have you hear his new music! The Plane Sailors Barely competent enough to write their own bio, but too loveable to hate them for it, it's the world's happiest emo band - The Plane Sailors. The band have been releasing a barrage of tracks since the tail end of 2021. After locking in their line-up 6 months later they have been bringing their energetic, no-holds barred live show to the masses across the east coast of Australia. The 5-piece pioneers of soaring melodies, harmonies, and twinkly guitars will leave listeners hooked with their fresh take on a nostalgic style. Brandishing a rich soundscape that ebbs and flows between prog-rock, funk, and folk, TYDE is a force to be reckoned with.
