Las celebradas cantautoras puertorriqueñas Melissa Ocasio y Andrea Cruz se unen en una gira por Estados Unidos y México. Sus nuevos proyectos musicales "La ausencia de albricias" de Andrea Cruz y “Hola, impostora" de Melissa Ocasio entrelazan el deseo de profundidad y honestidad con el que podemos relacionarnos. Su concepto, "a las músicas", les invita disfrutar de los proyectos de ambas en un mismo lugar. Les acompañan los músicos: Frido Vargas, Rafa Rivera y Camilo Pentzke.”

The concept "A las músicas" is an invitation to enjoy their individual musical projects in the same place. The tour presents their latest musical projects. A collaboration forges alliances between artists, friends and fans.

Andrea Cruz Biography
Andrea Cruz, is a Puerto Rican independent artist and singer-songwriter. She has a particular way of composing accompanied by a voice full of audacity and lyrics that narrate the multiple forms of life from el Caribe. The artist stands out in the genre of indie - folk. During 2017 she released her debut album "Tejido de Laurel". With it she managed to position herself in the most important lists in her native country. During 2018 she participated in LAMC at NYC, and SXSW at TX. In 2019, she managed to be part of the NPR Tiny Desk concert repertoire. In the same year she collaborated with artist Gaby Moreno, creating "Véngole". The song seeks to educate on the reproductive health of women. She went on her first tour in Mexico during the same year opening for Loli Molina. In Puerto Rico, she has shared a platform with Kany García, iLe, Buscabulla, Los Wálters, Fofé Abre, Eduardo Alegría, Mima, among others.
Andrea published a collection of poems: "Lo que no fue canción". It was conceived during an artistic residency at the museum MASS MoCA, MA during 2021. With her 2nd album "Sentir no es del tiempo" she toured some US states, accompanying Alisa Amador on her tour during 2022. Andrea Cruz has composed songs for commercials, foreign series and musicalized children’s themes.
Andrea Cruz presents her third album La ausencia de albricias. An EP full of force and ferocity after a year of recording. The artist, along with her musicians, foster a new phase of musical maturity.
