tAngerinecAt to powstały w Ukrainie, a obecnie działający w Walii duet tworzony przez Zhenię Purpurovsky (z Kijowa) i Paula Chiltona (z Wielkiej Brytanii). Piszą teksty, produkują, komponują. Multiinstrumentalna grupa, tworząca urzekającą dźwiękową krainę za pomocą elektronicznej produkcji, liry korbowej, głosu, gwizdków i szerokiego wachlarza innych dźwięków. Ich nowy album Glass, który został wybrany jednym z 100 najlepszych albumów 2022 roku przez Louder Than War, ukazuje osobistą historię Zhenii jako wieloetnicznej queerowej osoby uchodźczej, żyjącej z traumą swojego robotniczego wychowania.
Ich inspiracje obejmują artystów takich jak Son Lux, Gesaffelstein, Fever Ray, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, My Dying Bride, a takż muzykę etniczna Karpat Ukrainy oraz filmy Sergeya Parajanova.

Well organized event considering the number of bands performing. Only wanted to see tangerinecat and was not disappointed. Amazing set and acoustics were fine in this venue.

Tangerinecat Biography
tAngerinecAt are Ukrainian/British duo: Zhenia Purpurovsky and Paul Chilton – songwriters, producers, composers, and multi-instrumentalists who create spellbinding avant-pop using electronic production, hurdy-gurdy, voice, whistle and an array of other sounds. Their new album Glass that hit the top of the charts on Bandcamp tells Zhenia's’s personal story as a multi-ethnic queer refugee and complex trauma survivor from working class background.
Their influences range from artists like Son Lux, Gesaffelstein, Fever Ray, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, My Dying Bride, to the ethnic music of the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains and the films of Sergey Parajanov.
