Jodie Jean Marston is an award winning artist with a career spanning thirty years across the US. She’s toured with different bands, such as Bonnie Prince Billy and Anomanon. Jodie Jean has grown up in the foothills of Sierra Nevada, California. Folk, bluegrass and country sits in her spine as she makes her beautiful indie folk music. The voice and songwriting of Jodie Jean weaves forth nature’s transient moments. Marston, a “cosmic cowgirl”, brings forth an intimate and earthy voice which paints new pictures along old lines with soul and patience. Norwegian Artist and Songwriter Cecilie Anna has released three studio albums to glowing reviews in the Norwegian music press. Her new album, “Hommage County” releasing this Fall, is a collection of songs Cecilie Anna has written for other artist’s voices. Her musical expression is very much defined by the voice she’s writing for, and her references span Joni Mitchell to Mimi Parker (Low), Fats Domino to Leonard Cohen. Writing for her own voice, Cecilie Anna’s songs have been described as low-key and utterly beautiful.
