Award winning poet, novelist, musician and academic Dr Anthony Joseph will be delivering a special author talk on legendary Calypso singer Lord Kitchener (Aldwyn Roberts) at Old Trafford Library at the Limelight Centre. Talking about his research and writing process for his 2018 release Kitch: A Fictional Biography of a Calypso Icon, Anthony will share his inspirations for writing the book along with his BBC radio 4 documentary of the same title. Join us to hear Anthony share memories of meeting the Grandmaster of Calypso in 1984 and share stories of meeting several of Lord Kitchener’s contemporaries, friends and family.
