About this concert
Joanna Duda (piano, electronics) and Ksawery Wójciński (double bass), a duo from Poland will present an acoustic electronic set, based on previously prepared sounds. They are conceptually searching for what is textural and axiomatic, polyphonic in various ways and processed in the long term.
Both artists grew out of jazz improvisation; the experimental approach is what is interesting for them in creating the music. Beside the brilliant piano/double bass dialogue you can expect particles of quantum physics in between the sounds.

joanna Duda Biography
Joanna Duda - pianist, improviser, composer, producer. The music that she creates is broadly understood experimental music with elements of improvisation, jazz and all contemporary music. The artist's projects are solo (album KEEN Alpaka rec. 2019) and Joanna Duda Trio (album FUMITSUKE, Echo Productions 2021). Both are characterized by combining electronic and acoustic sounds in an osmotic, organic and layered way. What is unique in the artist's music is that she creates a new quality finding sonic aesthetics where it seems to be lacking.
