Sinclair Official Biography
I'm Sinclair. This year I’m writing & recording music that reflects my religious upbringing and threads in my passion for all human rights. I pride myself on creating musical experiences that mirror life — dark & methodical tones, with uplifting bursts of colorful brightness and feel good energy. The record is called Ok Preacher’s Kid. And will release in 3 main Chapters: Berlin (Germany), Malaga (Spain) & Potsdam (New York, US).
Compassion is my religion. Born and raised in Potsdam, NY. I’m #6 of 9 kids & my dad is the pastor of a non-denominational church (for something like 40 years now I wanna say!). It’s a big church in a small town with a devout following. When I came out it went just like I thought it would… Badly. It felt like a real life nightmare. Music proved to be my lifeline through 9 months of my life that seemed to be pitch black. It's part of who I am & I choose daily to share my music with the world in hopes of making people feel understood when they felt lost or lonely… to help them embrace their divine independence & uniqueness.
In 2018 I toured with Daughtry (man can that dude sing LIVE- wow!) I’d go back and play at 49 shows again, it was such an honor hearing them play & meeting/making wonderful fans!
March of this year I opened for the insanely talented & BA Kacey Musgraves… who was recently nominated for a grammy with her latest record Golden Hour, which I highly recommend!!!
