About this concert
Le quatuor stoner doom psychédélique WITCHFINDER fait s'entrechoquer notes de clavier lugubres, voix hypnotique ultra saturée et section rythmique intransigeante. Les Clermontois ont trouvé leur place au sein de la scène underground grâce à la puissance de leurs prestations lives, notamment aux côtés de poids lourds du genre tels que Red Fang, Corrosion Of Conformity, Conan ou Monolord.
Avec leur nouvel album "Forgotten Mansion", disponible depuis le 18 novembre 2022 chez Mrs Red Sound, WITCHFINDER met en scène des ambiances lugubres, explore la thématique de l'épouvante et assène une monumentale dose de fuzz. L'addition du claviériste Kevyn Raecke propulse leur son déjà ultra épais dans une dimension cathédralesque, à la fois théâtrale et pesante. La touche psychédélique est ici savamment mise en valeur sur un volumineux coussin doom.

witchfinder Biography
Since 2016, Clermont-Ferrand's doom sludge quartet WITCHFINDER are powered by gloomy keyboard effects, haunted Dopelord-like vocals, thunderous riffage and a bone rattling rhythm section. After the release of their eponymous debut album, their quickly garner a sizable following among the underground scene opening for stoner and doom behemoths such as Red Fang, Corrosion Of Conformity, Dopethrone, Ufomammut, Conan, Monolord, Kadavar, Hangman’s Chair...
Witchfinder's sophomore studio effort 'Hazy Rites' throws in plenty of hardcore and sludge influences to their already massive and doom-laden sound. It came out on 2019 via Black Bow Records (CD) and 2020 via Mrs Red Sound (LP).
Their upcoming EP 'Endless Garden' was recorded, mixed and mastered by Haldor Grunberg (Behemoth, Dopelord, Belzebong) of Satanic Audio in Poland, and arrives on June 3rd via Mrs Red Sound. The band already announced the release of a full-length this Fall.
