Nelleke is an up-and-coming singer, songwriter and producer from a small town in the east of The Netherlands. She was fascinated by folk music since she was little, with influences from Joni Mitchell, Sting, Bonnie Raitt, and at later stage, to Bon Iver, James Blake and Damian Rice. These influences sparked the flame for writing her own material from an early age on.

Her first steps into producership were taken during a residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Canada early 2020, where she decided to pursue her solo career as a singer songwriter. After an exclusive feature on the TV show We Want More on SBS6 (Dutch National Television), Nelle got accepted at Berklee College of Music, where she worked on her debut EP ''bird /on concrete'' (released planned in September 2023). Nelleke's music moves between Alternative Pop and Indie-Folk, always discovering music’s in-between-worlds with a strong lyrical focus, or as The Wild is Calling Us put it ”The writing reminds us of cult heroes like Jeff Buckley and nick cave. Nelleke appears to be in an elite compositional class.''

Her mesmerizing stage presence landed her shows across Europe and in the U.S from June 2023.
