Flascal Ratts: The Rascal Flatts Tribute Biography

Flascal Ratts began from fan's comments to Shane, in his other projects, on his identical sound to Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts. Maybe it was the similar style, or spiky hair, or the clothing he wore on stage that started an idea for a tribute to Rascal Flatts. Shane’s wife drew up the logo ideas that became the brand. This was around 2018. After a few friend's suggestions, it became something more. The passion of this music was evident for Paul Herring (drums) as well, and the two formed a bond to make this the best it could be.
Growing up on Rascal Flatts' music, they couldn't deny their success of 17 number one singles, 30 top 40 hits, and millions of fans, so with many years of tribute experience involved, Flascal Ratts became a reality. It needed to be an exact representation of their sound, musicianship, and look. The musicianship contained in FR spans worldwide, rather, from worldwide touring, national artists, Billboard charting, and amazing ability of all involved. Carefully choosing the right people for this project was paramount for Shane and Paul. They found the most brilliant musicians from several states and walks of life to give this project the versatility that Rascal Flatt’s fans are accustomed to. Rich Hodges, Paul’s longtime friend, came in on bass, and Shane reached out to his guitarist friend from another project in Denver, CO. Joe Reyes, a very accomplished musician, was thrilled to join. Then came some outstanding utility musicians, such as Jillian Herring on backing vocals and acoustic guitar, and finally, they added some of Nashville’s finest fiddle players to come in as needed. Flascal Ratts is the premier tribute to Rascal Flatts.
