Sam Lapides & The Rotten Liars

Sam Lapides and The Rotten Liars formed in early 2014 in Los Angeles, CA with Sam Lapides, on lead vocals and guitar, Julie Fergus on vocals and style, Doug Reichert on Guitar David Dieckmann on bass and Kristin King on drums. All veterans of the music scene and coming from different parts of the world, Sam, Scotty, David and Kristin, have melded an eclectic sound consisting of rock, R&B, blues, folk, and pop. The songs they perform, all written by Sam Lapides, cover a wide range of topics and styles ranging from a bluesy break up song, to an upbeat dreamy dance tune. The showcase of songs comes from a library of music written by Sam Lapides over a course of 20+ years.

Sam, who comes from New Jersey but now lives in Los Angeles, has performed most of these songs on various national and world tours.

Julie, lives for art, film and music. She she grew up in New York and has written scripts, produced and starred in plays in LA and New York. She brings her strong vocal background and style to the band.

Doug, the newest member saved from the ashes of the Sandra Macat Band hails from Chicago and brings his mid western work ethic and creativity to add spice to Sam's songs.

David hails from Missouri and moved to Los Angeles with a successful business in hand. He was involved in music from the get go and joined Sam on bass in 2016

Kristin hails from Orange County and has been playing drums since she was a kid and joined Sam in 2018
