Faultered Step

Faultered Step was an idea from two teens Alex and Zack, who learning guitar and watching DVD's of their favorite music all the time in 2009. Bands like Alice Cooper, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, and Metallica were the roots of inspiration for starting this journey. Through various opportunities, friends, and learning experiences, the band kept on through the boys' formative high school years and really started to take off once they graduated. They performed quite a bit in the local area, supporting bands like Tantric, Ill Nino, Flaw, Bobaflex, and Psychostick. Pieces fell into place for their debut album "Unfortunate Timing" which was released in 2015. After the debut album, the band dissolved back into the original pair of Alex on bass and Zack on guitar, until they met current drummer Garrett in 2016 and recorded their follow up EP "New Beginning Again" in 2017. With Alex and Zack sharing vocal duties, the band released "Reverie" in 2019 and played a number of local shows. The band released 3 singles in 2022 to promote their third album, Anatta, which is set to release late January 2023 via Degradation Records.
