Logan Richardson is a musician who hails from Kansas City, Missouri. Born in 1980, he grew up in a household that was steeped in culture and creative minds.
Richardson began his musical career as a saxophonist and pianist. He was a child prodigy and quickly gained recognition for his talent. As a young man, he moved to New York City, where he studied at The New School of Music
In the early 2000s, Richardson began to make a name for himself in the New York City contemporary scene. He played with a number of notable musicians, including Greg Osby, Stefon Harris, and Jason Moran. Richardson's playing style was unique and drew on a wide range of influences, from bebop to hip-hop.
Richardson released his debut album, "Cerebral Flow," in 2007. The album was well-received and showcased his skill as a composer and bandleader. He followed up with "Ethos," which featured a larger ensemble and incorporated elements of electronic music.
Throughout his career, Richardson has been known for his innovative approach to Black Amercian Music and contemporary music as a whole. He is constantly exploring new sounds and pushing the boundaries of the genre. In addition to his work as a musician, he is also a producer and songwriter.
