Cerebellion Biography

Antithetical to their Catholic school upbringing in Orange County, CA, twin brothers Joe (vocals) and John Arnold (guitar) formed Cerebellion in 2009 with the concept of societal change by challenging one’s own personal beliefs. Achieving the rare balance of technical proficiency and massive poppy hooks, the group delivers a punishing yet melodic sound in the vein of bands like Demon Hunter, All That Remains, and Righteous Vendetta. “You hear something real in their sound that is often missing from music today” - Jesse Cannon, Noise Creators. With bassist Marc Battung and drummer Jimmy Schultz, the quartet has been turning heads releasing music and doing regional touring since 2010.

Following the release of their cover of “Burst,” (Anthrax) in May 2024, Cerebellion has now released a brand new single “Back to the Start,” a strong effort from the band with its power, groove, and melody. The group continues to release content on social media and Youtube exponentially growing new followers all over the globe. 2024 has been the biggest year so far for the band in new followers, viral content (including videos that have reached in the millions of views) and streaming numbers. More importantly though, the quality of the feedback and engagement has been heartfelt and enthusiastic. The band’s social media content, which features Cerebellion’s music, has generated real excitement and has had a direct correlation to new heights in streaming numbers on platforms such as Spotify. The band is poised to follow up “Back to the Start” with a series of new releases already in the works for late 2024 and 2025.
