Girlboy

We started this band in 2014 — nearly a decade ago. And while 2023 won’t be the year it ends, it is the year when we’ll no longer live on the same coast. With Matthew moving back to the Blue Ridge Mountains in NC this fall while Haley continues to soak up the San Diego sunshine, Girlboy’s future will look a little different. We don’t know exactly when we’ll be on stage or writing new music together again. The Girl Rapper and Flamy Grant will keep doing their respective things. We don’t believe this is Girlboy’s final chapter… but you may have to wait awhile for the next book in the series. We’re going to celebrate nine years of late blooming, sunny, glowing, golden, gay-as-fuck music back where it all began: at The Merrow, where we had our very first album release show.
