About this concert
Singer & Songwriter and San Diego Native, Graham Nancarrow arrived on the Alt Country/Americana scene in 2010. His band, Nancarrow, released his debut country album, Valley Of The Deer in 2012 and it was nominated Best Country/Americana album at the San Diego Music Awards. Shortly after, he lost his father, his hero, his father, Loren, to a deadly brain tumor in 2013. He fought hard and honorably. That year Nancarrow released the 6 song E.P Heart dedicated to him. That album was nominated at SDMAs as well. In 2015, Nancarrow released full-length, Simple Things for which he and the band won Best Americana/Country Album. These records are currently unavailable on streaming platforms.   In 2016 Nancarrow decided to split with the label and go independent. He and the band came upon a great opportunity out in Music City to record a full-length album with the incredibly talented and kind, 5-time Grammy Award winner, Vance Powell. Our great friends and musical heroes, Rhett Miller, Murray Hammond and the Old 97’s had just finished making a record with Vance and recommended that we do the same. Vance approved of our sound and the band spent a month at his studio, Sputnik Sound in Nashville, Tennessee. That album Hot Chicken and was released in 2016. Nancarrow fell in love with Nashville and decided to relocate to Music City later that year. Upon arrival, he began playing the honky tonks around town to earn a living. That's where he met songwriting buddy and guitar picker, John Bohlinger. In 2020 the two teamed up on a project called Graham Nancarrow and The Goddamn Saints. They've released 10 songs thus far. In March 2022 they performed at Nissan Stadium which held a record breaking attendance of 68,000 people, for the NHL Stadium Series, Nashville Predators Vs. Tampa Bay Lightning. The song, You’re The Reason I Drink has been played on Sirius XM Outlaw Country and I Understand (I will never understand) had its debut on CMT in 2022.   Nancarrow has shared the stage with Midland, The Marshall Tucker Band, Miranda Lambert, Nickel Creek, Sara & Sean Watkins, Dierks Bentley, John Fogerty, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Chris Young, Sam Hunt, Emmylou Harris, Eric Paslay, Marty Stuart, Robert Earl Keen, Jana Kramer, Lucero, Billy Joe Shaver, Old 97’s, Nikki Lane, Whitey Morgan, Dale Watson, Cody Jinks, Carrie Underwood, The Band Perry, Dustin Lynch, Lee Ann Womack, Rodney Crowell, Langhorne Slim, Pokey LaFarge, Mo Pitney, Sam Outlaw, Jamestown Revival, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Joe Nichols, The Doobie Brothers, A Thousand Horses, RaeLynn, The Turnpike Troubadours, Old Dominion, Amanda Shires, Frankie Ballard, Lit, and many more.   Nancarrow is currently touring the US and is due to drop several new songs in 2023. Nancarrow’s shows are very interactive and always a great time. He carries a great energy and has incredible & relatable songs. He even sprinkles a bit of humor in a few songs. You will surely be entertained..
