Highkick

HighKick is a West Philadelphia based band who continue to evolve and challenge themselves as performers. Presenting their fans with improvisational jams, layered indie sagas, bluegrass singalongs and a trilogy of Christmas Musicals to boot. HighKick aim to please and shoot to kill. The process of creating and releasing 'Normal View' inspired the band to hit the road and deliver their music to other markets. After returning from their first multi-state tour, HighKick is currently writing new material, converting their diesel mini-bus to run on vegetable oil and building their very own studio. HighKick was the Philly local pick on WXPN in May, 2014, Jackson's local shot on WMMR, and most recently, did a Key Studio Session for wxpn's The Key in December of 2014 (http://thekey.xpn.org/2014/12/10/kss-highkick/). The band have shared the stage with notable performers including Bernie Worrell, Wanda Jackson, Yarn, Swift Technique, Justin Stens and the Get Real Gang, Toy Soldiers, The Spinto Band, Royal Teeth, Yellow Dub Marine, Misterwives and more.
