The South Sounds Music & Arts Festival is happy to announce our return to downtown Mobile with the release of our 2023 lineup, featuring more than 40 Southeastern acts on three stages. Since 2011 the festival has dedicated itself to the promotion of Southern Artists and this year we have a wide range of acts that are sure to please all live music fans. “The full slate of acts -- topped by Tank and the Bangas, Susto, and JoJo Hermann of Widespread Panic -- is a return to form for SouthSounds, which last offered something similar in 2019, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. A smaller SouthSounds Showcase in spring 2022 offered a sampler of the eclectic, independent regional acts that SoundSounds has typically favored over the last decade” - Lawrence Specker, AL.com Performances all weekend–including two Thursday kick-off events–will take place at Alabama Music Box (12 S Conception St), The Merry Widow (51 S Conception St), and outdoor Oyster City & Faubourg Brewing Stage (located directly next to The Merry Widow). General Admission Weekend Festival Passes are $65 and include entry to all 4 nights of shows.
