Takeaway Thieves Biography
Formed in April 2018, Takeaway Thieves played their debut gig in June, followed the day after with an acoustic lunch time gig which was recorded and released in early August "#WaterlooCoustic"
Featuring ex members of Hooker, Ten and Dragstrip Junkies the band have secured Live dates, supporting so far The Quireboys, Electric Boys, Massive Wagons, EnuffZNuff, Love/Hate, Towers of London, The Erotics and Shark Island and played at HRH Sleaze Festival, Rockwich Festival.
Securing Management they recorded their ep at John Sykes (Whitesnake/Blue Murder) Berlin Studios they released their debut single "I Wish You Were Dead" March 22nd and the four track Ep "This is RocknRoll" released May.
End of 2019 " This is RocknRoll" EP voted twice Bet EP of 2019 from New Wave of Classic Rock Subscribers and Manchester Rocks.
Start of 2020 Takeaway Thieves will be in the studio to start recording their debut album, for release June /July.
Having secured 6 Festival slots for 2020 already and a growing strong following the band are going from strength to strength
