Liya Shapiro

Liya Shapiro is a London-based singer-songwriter whose music moves through love, identity, mental health and emotional fragility with the patience of someone who knows that the hardest feelings rarely resolve cleanly. Drawing on backgrounds in art history, fashion and anthropology, she builds a world that is as visually and intellectually deliberate as it is emotionally raw – chamber rock at its core, but never fully containable within a single genre.

Now past 220,000 streams on Spotify with nearly 13,000 monthly listeners, she has built that momentum entirely independently, without management or a label. In July 2025 she headlined a sold-out show at The Troubadour; her debut EP Another Woman – a cohesive body of work tracing a years-long experience of unrequited love across five tracks – is out May 29, 2026.
