A New Sonic Ecosystem
Featuring past and present members of Coil, Zu, and Spiritualized, this album represents a radical, unexpected stylistic shift from the members’ respective paths. It strips away the monolithic, math-like patterns of Zu to embrace a wider, spacious, and atmospheric canvas. Recontextualizing the concrete electronic legacy of Coil and the hypnotic, deep-filter Mediterranean avant-garde. The result is a completely new sonic ecosystem that sounds like nothing any of these musicians have ever recorded before. A very sophisticated, and deeply cinematic journey.
