Distractor

Dieter Stein, or Distractor, born in 1990 in the United States of America, started spinning thirteen years later in 2003. He started playing trance, and also experimented a bit with producing this genre with Reason. About a year and a half later, at the age of 15, Distractor discovered hardstyle thanks to the famous "Bitte Ein Beat"-compilations. He liked this so much, and therefore the switch from trance to hardstyle was made. Dieter bought two turntables and has been buying records ever since. After graduating high school, he decided it was time to start working on a career as a DJ and a producer. It was in 2008 when Distractor started with the education Audio Engineering at SAE Institute Rotterdam. Also in 2008, he started working with Logic Pro. In 2010, his producing skills are at a certain level which is release-worthy, and his first release will be on Hardcopy Recordings, owned and managed by Deepack. This release is called Tsunami and after this, there's a lot to come.
