ANK-HARA is a French singer, songwriter and music producer whose music moves between alternative R&B, art pop and trip-hop, drawing from neo-soul, electronic music and a wide range of transcultural influences.

Writing, composing and producing her own music, she brings together expressive vocals with electronic production and organic instrumentation. Her work moves through a wide spectrum of emotions, from peace to rage, with an intensity that is uniquely her own. Her music becomes a space for emotional transmutation and catharsis, while also serving as a source of hope and motivation — as expressed in Let’s Build A New World — in response to politically charged times. Her songs explore intimacy, feminism and spirituality, with esoteric concepts also woven into the music for the attuned ear.

After six years in London, where she developed her musical identity within the UK’s alternative hip-hop and soul scenes, ANK-HARA returned to France to pursue her project as an independent artist. She now performs her original music live, bringing her production and vocal work to the stage.

In 2018, she won the Beat Battle at Ritzy Brixton in London. In 2025, she won the Concours Jeunes Talents d’Orléans in the Music category and was selected for La Nouvelle Onde’s 30 artistes de moins de 30 ans, in the Artiste-Entrepreneure category.

Her latest single, “Goddess Rising” featuring Naala Lartey, is currently premiering on Bandcamp, marking the beginning of a new chapter in ANK-HARA’s musical journey. She is also continuing to develop her live project, with new music to come in 2027.
