About this concert
6:30 PM GMT+12 Going
fter taking their music across Germany and Poland, MTTM are back home in Berlin for one last show before the year closes.
MTTM treat the 80s less like nostalgia and more like raw material. Cold synths, restless guitars, driving live drums and melodies that move somewhere between longing and urgency. Their sound pulls New Wave, dark synth-pop and post-punk into the present, shifting from brooding atmosphere to the kind of hooks that stay with you long after the room goes dark.
Joining them at Monarch are Twenty-Four Eyes, taking things somewhere rougher: relentless industrial rhythms, glitchy textures, post-punk and noise rock, with songs shaped by the chaos and anxiety of late-stage capitalism.
Two Berlin bands. Two different edges of post-punk.
Dark synths. Noise. Guitars. Live drums.
See you at Monarch.
