'Farmhouse Blues' release date: Oct 22nd
Albert The Second’s latest release ‘Farmhouse Blues’ ain’t no country song, it’s a song from the country. A rockin’ rollin, truth telling, freight train that delivers a playful take on the tougher side of country living.
Albert The Second will be supporting his ‘Farmhouse Blues’ release with a run of shows starting off in Australia’s southern states this November. At these shows you can catch Albert weaving his storytelling between ambient home recordings on his grandma’s 60’s reel to reel player as the influences of his upbringing scream from the speakers with his farmhouse band and hand crafted light experience.
Nov 22nd - Nevermind Bar - Melbourne, Naarm, Vic (Band)
Show @ 3pm, Free Entry

Artist bio
Hailing from Victoria's rugged South-West. Albert The Second delivers songs and stories with a laidback feel that come straight from the heart.
A big fan of DIY and keeping it simple, Albert enjoys writing and recording in his home studio nestled amongst the gum’s, on his farm in The Green Triangle, preferring to capture his music with a collection of analog mixers and old reel to reel tape recorders.
Alberts live show is an extension of his love for storytelling around a campfire with the added rumble of a vintage amp and the jangle of a well loved guitar.
In the spring of 2024 Albert The Second released his first self recorded/produced song called “Feeling Blue”. A simple acoustic track that is warmed by a story of love and the vibrato of a Fender Rhodes dancing in the background. "Feeling Blue" was followed shortly after with another self recorded/produced release in December 2024, which is Alberts fresh take on the timely classic Summertime written by Ira Gershwin & DuBose Heyward.
In May of 2025 Albert The Second released "dreamer" a stunning new track that takes you to a place of reflection and vulnerability. This is a song that resonates with anybody that is missing somebody special in their life and has been added to ABC Radio's National broadcast "Grassroots" program.
2025 continues to bring fresh music, new tours and a good time for Albert The Second. Stay tuned.
