Following the success of their show in August 2025 we are pleased to announce that Track Dogs will be returning to Upstairs at the Red Lion, Manningtree on Wednesday 7th April 2027.
Track Dogs are an international roots quartet, and one of the most eclectic and vibrant bands on the European scene. They are two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown & Robbie K Jones) who deliver a rousing good time with their adventurous fusion of Folk, Latino and Americana, and stunning 4-part harmonies.
Formed in the Autumn of 2006 in Madrid around the eclectic line-up of acoustic guitar, electric bass, trumpet and cajón, over the following 20 years they have added banjo, ukulele and mandolin as well as honing their four-part vocal harmonies, now very much an integral part of their sound.
Their sound is unique with a mixture of americana, latin, and bluegrass with a touch of Crosby, Stills and Nash and Shirley Ellis.
They are building a large and loyal following as a result of festival appearances all over the UK and in Europe.
2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the band and to mark the occasion they are releasing a new LP “Still at the Music”.
If you saw them the last time you will want to see them again. If you missed it make sure you catch them this time.
This is a great opportunity to see this entertaining and unique band in the intimate atmosphere of the music room Upstairs at the Red Lion.

“Sun-shiny songs thriving on dark themes behind irresistible rhythms.”
Track Dogs are two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown & Robbie K.Jones), whose artistic name derives from the dark subterranean world of New York’s subway system.
Formed in the Autumn of 2006 in Madrid around the eclectic line-up of acoustic guitar, electric bass, trumpet and cajón, over the following 20 years they have added banjo, ukulele and mandolin as well as honing their four part vocal harmonies, now very much an integral part of their “sound”.
Well-established in Spain where they are based, they are surprising music lovers everywhere. After a fortuitous invitation to the Costa Festival in Ibiza in 2018 they teamed up with Firebrand Music in the UK and have been building their reputation as a live band with performances at Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Wickham Music Festival, Beardy Folk, New Forest Festival, Glastonbury, Broadstairs Folk Week and The Gate to Southwell, to name but a few.
2025 saw the band release their 11th album, The Essential Track Dogs; Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered, a double CD of close to 40 tracks featuring the best of their originals and cover tracks from 2011 to 2021 plus some brand new songs and reimagined versions of already existing tracks.
As folks familiar with the band will know, Track Dogs have always dabbled in different styles, from Americana Music, bluegrass, to latino, folk, and even blues. Track Dogs demonstrate that they really play their own genre. What sort of music do Track Dogs play?
The answer is Track Dogs Music.
