Award-winning singer and broadcaster Clare Teal returns with a brand-new show and a line-up of extraordinary musicians and special guests. The Clare Teal Collective brings together some of Clare’s favourite musical collaborators — old friends and new — for an evening that celebrates everything she loves about jazz: great songs, brilliant musicians, spontaneity, storytelling and, of course, swing. Drawing on Clare’s extensive catalogue alongside fresh arrangements and newly forged musical partnerships, the evening will move from intimate, stripped-back moments to the exhilarating sound of a band in full flight. Along the way, expect familiar favourites, unexpected gems and a few surprises as Clare welcomes special guests from the exciting collaborations she has been creating over the past year. Warm, funny and gloriously unpredictable, this is Clare Teal doing what she does best — bringing remarkable musicians together and seeing where the music takes them. One night. A stage full of fabulous musicians. And a whole lot of swing. “She’s a triple threat! Please go out and buy Clare Teal’s record!” Michael Bublé “The new first lady of Jazz” The Independent “A delicious mixture… in glorious Technicolour. Lush” Gay Times “Some singers sing standards, some sing their own material, but very few do both and even fewer do it well. Clare Teal is one of those rarities” The Observer “A sensation in the world of jazz” Mail on Sunday “We love her” Ken Bruce “Sensitive vocals over graceful strings making these great songs all her own…” Gregory Porter “Wonderful. Worth raving about” Sir Michael Parkinson “A First Class Evening’s Entertainment from The Queen of Swing” Time Out
