Ralph McTell An outstanding line-up of musicians, friends and admirers come together for a day of celebration of Sandy’s life and music. Sandy and Friends: the Soho years An exploration in conversation and music of the influence of her musician friends on Sandy Denny’s uniquely emotive singing, playing and songwriting style, including: Davy Graham, John Renbourn, Bert Jansch, Anne Briggs, Martin Carthy, Dave Swarbrick, Jackson C Frank, John Martyn and Trevor Lucas. The Lady she has a silver tongue… Sandy’s songs, including her classic Who Knows Where the Time Goes, performed by artists who have all played a part in keeping her creative flame alive since her all-too-early death in 1978. This special anniversary event honours the enduring legacy of an artist whose hauntingly soulful music continues to console, enchant and inspire.
