Artist bio
Hot Mañana was formed in Philadelphia in 2025 by drummer Jake Van Der Linde and bassist Adam Black. Together, they brew caffeinated sludge that evokes the feeling of barreling through a swamp in a golf cart with no governor. It is electric anxiety with ground pounding grooves for a dance off at the end of the world. A man on a soapbox at the back of the room shouts tales about the horror of the mundane over the cacophony. There is urgency in the words and the music alike.
