Kennedy Von Kat

Hailing from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Kennedy Von Kat is a rising force in modern metalcore, blending nostalgic 2000s metalcore with gothic metal, hard rock, and cinematic horror. Inspired by Motionless In White, Evanescence, Violent Vira, and HIM, her sound combines haunting melodies, soaring vocals, devastating screams, and crushing instrumentation.

Her music explores self-identity, mental health, self-worth, and emotional resilience, turning personal experiences into dark, empowering anthems. Following her debut EP *BLOOD ON THE ALTAR*, Kennedy has entered a heavier era, with her growing discography surpassing 65,000 streams and “PSYCHODRAMA” exceeding 35,000.

Kennedy has collaborated with artists and producers including Erik Jensen of Escape The Fate, 52Blu, Siegfried Meier, Deer Fang, and HOWLEAN. Her music has earned radio play on ROCK 95 and ROCK 97.7, while her career highlights include co-headlining NXNE Festival, winning the 2024 Mic Drop Competition, and receiving three Niagara Music Award nominations.

With a new EP set to be announced in September 2026 and merchandise created with Canadian gothic brand Wickedly Divine Shop, Kennedy Von Kat is entering her darkest and most ambitious era yet.
