詩的な歌詞と叙情的なメロディが特徴で、郷愁や儚さ、諸行無常、侘び寂びの世界に、それでも燻る熱量を見出している。
2022年4月、「回夏」がTVアニメ『サマータイムレンダ』の1stエンディングテーマに起用され、注目を集めた。

In April 2022, cadode's song Kaika was featured as the 1st ending theme for the TV anime Summer Time Rendering, gaining widespread recognition. The name “cadode” means “beginning” or “departure” in Japanese.
