Stephen Kellogg always delivers ! Look SK is a working performing artist . Akin to Dylan’s never ending tour SK seems to be on the road always and forever . It can’t be easy .. especially being a family man through and through it must be hard some nights .. maybe a certain note ain’t there .. maybe he don’t feel like jumping or stomping around …. it he cares about his audience and he delivers . The passion is there .. the love of his songs are there and he should love his songs as we do … what a great writer and performer . And he always tries to change up from tour to tour . On this night he traded songs back and forth with Chris Barron ( spin doctors front man ) the songs touched on subjects selected at random from a basket . and so the show became sort of a storytellers session as well . Barron was fantastic .. and an incredible guitar player .. and SK was SK . The show yes was mostly laid back but never boring and they brought it home with each playing great great songs . CB did Two Princes , the hit song we all know and SK did The 4th of July a song that should have been !! ( what the heck is wrong with radio not playing this song when it was first written and recorded !!!) a hit !!! SK we all sang along with you with love in our hearts and we imagined we were at a stadium ! The two songwriters only sang one song together .. it was the first song of the night .. a beautiful actually stunning great version of Dylan’s I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight .. with SK bridging it with a perfectly not perfect fantastic harmonica ! Thank you SK again
