Ardeshir Farah

“Ardeshir Farah elevates his roots in a beautiful composition structure that incorporates harmony and improvisation in an aesthetic way for the senses!” Al Di Meola Ardeshir Farah is a renowned guitarist known for his mastery of both nylon-string Spanish acoustic guitar and electric guitar. He is half of the Grammy-nominated guitar duo, Strunz & Farah. Farah’s nylon-string acoustic guitar music can be described as original multi-cultural acoustic instrumental improvisational guitar music, often referred to as world jazz. His music is characterized by sensuous melody and rhythm, with a very distinct combination of melodic and high-speed musical phrases.

In his acoustic guitar work, elements of Afro-Caribbean, Middle Eastern, Latin American folk, and flamenco music converge with some jazz harmonies, particularly in terms of improvisation. The technical proficiency demonstrated by Ardeshir Farah and Strunz & Farah has been noted to push the boundaries of human capabilities.

In addition to his acclaimed work on nylon-string guitar, with Jorge Strunz, as Strunz & Farah, and his solo releases, Ardeshir has also performed and recorded on electric guitar for many years. On September 1, 2025, he released three new electric guitar singles, two uptempo tracks featuring the renowned guitarist Alex Skolnick, and one solo electric guitar piece that showcases his melodic compositional mastery in composing haunting melodies. https://www.instagram.com/ardeshirfarah_official
