From the mind of bassist and “amazing songwriter” (Kasia Constance, Onejazz) Mark McQuillan, Testaments create a sweeping and dynamic sound and guide audiences through a world of both ethereal beauty and intense drama. Featuring Rebecka Edlund (Vocals), Cameron Scott (Euphonium), Dom Howard (Guitar) and Sam Nicholls (Drums), each musician brings a unique voice and approach to the material which fosters constant variety within and between live performances. Edlund's “raw, beautiful delivery” (Gabriel Rivera, Indie Boulevard) gives voice to McQuillan's words through an earnest yet playful approach, while Scott's improvisational virtuosity is channeled into sublime musical peaks.

Testaments’ recorded output showcases fearless experimentation with song form and timbral variation within the jazz paradigm, while recent sold-out shows at London venues like Jazzlive at the Crypt and The Puppet Theatre Barge have left audience members in both tears and ecstasy. Following three singles released since late 2024, their recently released EP ‘Never Run Dry’ showcases the band’s vast emotional and dynamic range.
