8th Circle

8th Circle are a heavy metal band from Edinburgh, forged by a mutual appreciation of single malt whisky and heavy riffs. Formed in early 2024, the band quickly made an impression with their high-energy shows, playing their first gigs to enthusiastic crowds.
Drawing influences from classic thrash metal, grunge, and doom metal, 8th Circle’s sound spans the full range of tempos, from fast and aggressive to sludgy, haunting doom, with a gritty edge that keeps things fresh and raw. There’s a subtle prog influence that is enough to interest a nerd without being too much to deter a caveman.
In early 2025, 8th Circle released their debut single, Begin the Harvest, showcasing their distinct blend of classic metal with modern energy. With their sights set on expanding beyond their Edinburgh base, the band plans to continue their rise, recording and releasing more singles throughout 2025.
